Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how RelicShare ("RelicShare", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use relicshare.com (the "Service"). RelicShare is a fan-made tool for finding and hosting Warframe relic-sharing sessions. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information — the email address and password you provide at sign-up. Passwords are handled and stored by our authentication provider (Supabase) in hashed form; we never see or store your plaintext password.
  • Warframe forum name — when you verify your account, we record the public display name of the Warframe forum account you use to complete verification. This becomes your player name on the Service.
  • Content you create — the relic sessions you host or look for, and the relics you favorite.
  • Technical data — standard server and security logs (such as request metadata) generated by our hosting provider.

We do not ask you to sign in with Google, and we do not access your personal Google or email accounts. See the Google API section below for how the Gmail API is used.

How we use your information

  • To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
  • To verify that you control a Warframe account and to link your player name to your profile.
  • To provide core features: sessions and favorites.
  • To prevent abuse, spam, and impersonation, and to keep the Service running.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Account verification and the Google API

To confirm that you own a Warframe account, RelicShare gives you a one-time code that you send as a private message to our forum account on the official Warframe forums. The forum then emails a notification to a dedicated inbox that we operate. Our backend reads that inbox using the Google Gmail API to match your code and record the sender's forum name.

This Gmail access is limited to our own dedicated inbox — it does not access any Google account belonging to you. RelicShare's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained via the Gmail API is used solely to operate the account-verification feature and is not transferred to third parties except as needed to run the Service.

Third-party services

We rely on the following processors to run the Service:

  • Supabase — database and authentication (stores your account and content).
  • Vercel — application hosting and server logs.
  • Google — the Gmail API, used as described above.

Each processor handles data under its own privacy policy and security practices.

Cookies

We use a strictly necessary, secure session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your account page; deleting your account removes your profile, sessions, and favorites. You may also contact us to request deletion.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed by our auth provider, and access to sensitive operations is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live — including under Brazil's LGPD and the EU/UK GDPR — you may have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data. You can also delete your account yourself from your account page.
  • Portability — request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Restriction or objection — object to, or ask us to limit, certain processing of your data.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for example, the ANPD in Brazil or your national authority in the EU/UK).

Legal bases (GDPR). We process your data to perform our agreement with you (providing the Service), for our legitimate interests (keeping the Service secure and preventing abuse), and with your consent where required.

To exercise any of these rights, contact support@relicshare.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
